Well we decided to submit out special needs check list. I decided not to discuss any of the needs I requested, I feel it's important to protect my child's privacy. Already, the motherly protecting gene is kicking in.
To be honest, it may have been the wait that prompted me to look at the check list but then something strange happened. I remembered why I/we decided to adopt a child. We want to give a home to child that doesn't have one and these children need a home more than anyone.
So here we are, at the start of a new journey. One that will lead us one way or another to our daughter.

Like Peggy said you will be a great mother, just don't fall asleep and let the baby watch cartoons for 2 hours, but then again Lola loved you for it :)
